Attape Moi Si Tu Peux Malbec
IGP Pays d'Oc
It is a style, Auriol’s style: red fruits and spices aromas, a flexible and elegant structure, whatever the positioning we decide to give to the wine. We have magnified this Malbec to obtain a ruby garnet robe, deep but still shiny, some pretty tasty flavor and a full but sweet mouth. The Malbec is planted on the high mountains of the Languedoc, on South Side, near the Spanish border and above Limoux, where the coolness of the climate gives it its natural liveliness. We found under the brand a duo of atypical grape varieties the White Chenin and the Malbec, with the same elevated Limouxin’s soil. We played with a literary classic of Jean de La Fontaine and his fables Le Lièvre et la Tortue (The Hare and the Turtle). The illustration has been reinvented to bring a fun and living side, staging our 2 animals on a Vespa and a Mehari.
Malbec
16°C
Clay-limestone soils from Limoux, located on hillsides between 200 and 300 meters altitude. Vineyard’s exposed to all three influences: oceanic, mountainous, and Mediterranean, allowing the production of ripe and fresh wines.
Vineyard led with the Haute Valeur Environnementale label. Mode of size in cord low trained.
The grapes are harvested by machine based on strict vineyard selection, taking into account the ripeness of each plot. They are entirely destemmed before fermentation, then fermented in lined tanks with particular attention paid to fermentation temperatures. Daily pumping over is used. Racking occurs before the end of fermentation so that it finishes in the liquid phase, producing fine tannins and good fruitiness.
Perfect for pairing with smoked pork meats, roast and grilled meats, vegetables au gratin and mild cheeses. It also drinks well on its own, whilst reading a good book or chatting with friends.
Ruby-hued with brilliant highlights. Spicy nose with black fruit notes. The wine has lovely palate weight, suffused with fruitiness. Upfront but refined tannins. A compelling wine. Drink within the first 3 years after bottling.
