The cities of Vergèze and Codognan / Aimargues, located in the Gard department part of Occitanie region, benefit from a rich wine-growing terroir, contributing to the production of quality wines. Terroir around Vergèze and Codognan. The region has a Mediterranean climate, with hot, dry summers and mild winters. The mistral, the prevailing wind, blows regularly, helping to sanitize the vines and prevent certain diseases. The soils are mainly composed of limestone and sandstone formations, typical of the region. This geological diversity enables the different grape varieties to adapt well, and contributes to the aromatic complexity of the wines produced.
Night harvest, light direct pressing. Free-run juice only, cold stabilization for 3 days, cold fermentation at 16°C.
Ideal as an aperitif, with seasonal Mediterranean dishes, charcuterie, summer BBQs, or with refined dishes for romantic meals.
Dry wine with intense fruit and good acidity, lightly aromatic with notes of orange blossom, apricot, preserved lemon, jasmine and spices.
